18 / EXPORT FORMATS

Choose an output for the reader’s destination and retain the editable diagram separately.

NOTE 01

Editable source

Use .drawio or XML for the full drawing. An image alone may not preserve the data needed for another revision.

NOTE 02

Images and browser use

PNG is useful for general image sharing; SVG keeps vector geometry. Embedded diagram data can be removed by other applications.

NOTE 03

Documents and print

PDF suits print and reports. A self-hosted installation may need a configured export service or the browser print path.
